This is one of seven currently operating truss assembly lines at PERFECTION STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS.  Once the components of this eighty-foot truss have been jigged into place, the press just visible at the far right of picture will embed the steel connector plates into the wood.

Since 1939, the Goebel family and STAR LUMBER have operated with the philosophy of giving back   to the community a portion of what the community has given to them.  They feel that it is a privilege to  serve the Central Kansas region.

It is with these thoughts that Star Lumber is proud  to pledge 10% of pre-tax operating profits back to  our communities.  STAR is proud to maintain this long-standing tradition.
